How I work

You are my primary concern and I am committed to your well-being. I trained as a person-centred therapist and work on a relational basis where I believe the relationship between you and me is essential in providing you with a healing experience. I also believe that you have your own inner coping resources and my role is to facilitate your understanding and access these resources. I create a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment where you can explore and express your innermost thoughts and feelings about your loss. I adopt a flexible, personalised approach when working with you.

I respect your values, beliefs and experience.  We will work at a pace that you are comfortable with and which you can manage.

I offer individual counselling sessions and I also offer sessions for couples if you would prefer to work through and process your grief together. Our work could be open-ended or time-limited depending on your needs. We would meet on a weekly basis and each session will last 60 minutes.

My private practice is based in Knaphill, Woking, within easy reach of the surrounding area of Surrey and has ample parking.

My work is regularly supervised by a qualified and accredited supervisor which is a requirement of my professional body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

If you feel that working together with me could have benefits for you, please get in touch with me to book an appointment either by phone or text on 07547 641426 or email on

I look forward to hearing from you.
